Legal basis for asset declarations
The legal regulations in force in Poland requiring persons performing public functions to submit asset declarations are contained in several dozen Acts. Moreover, there are currently as many as seventeen different templates of asset declaration forms are contained in legal instruments. Both regulations on submitting asset declarations and the forms of templates to be used are currently confused, imprecise and leave much room for interpretation.
