Target

The aim of the conference is to discuss possible solutions to the current imperfections of the legal system in the area of asset declarations, on the basis of which proposals for changes to the provisions of the bill "on asset declarations" will be presented. This international event, which will take place at the Cyber Command (Dowództwo Komponentu Wojsk Obrony Cyberprzestrzeni), will allow for discussion of the proposed legal solutions among a wide group of experts, as well as exchange of best international practice to be implemented in the new national asset declaration system. It will also provide an opportunity to learn about the civil society perspective represented by non-governmental organisations focused on anti-corruption issues. The conference may also become a platform for initial public consultations on statutory changes, building a positive dialogue with stakeholders, by illustrating the  multifaceted, positive influence the changes would have on transparency of public life in Poland. The conference plan includes multimedia presentations by speakers and participation in debates.
