Nikola Naumovski
Senior Anti-Corruption Adviser, Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative
Mr. Nikola Naumovski was born in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. He graduated from the University of Belgrade in 2008 from the Faculty of Law and with a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Political Science in 2014.
Prior to joining the Regional Anti- Corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat Mr. Naumovski worked in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia for approximately 15 years including as Head of Department for EU Integration in Judiciary and Public Administration and Head of Department for International Legal Assistance In Civil Matters, after which he was promoted to the position of Assistant Minister for international legal assistance, which he held from 2020 to 2022.
Mr. Naumovski graduated from the Diplomatic Academy “Koča Popović” in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia in 2011/2012.
Mr. Naumovski was a member of the Steering Committee for projects: iPROCEEDS 2, “Supporting effective remedies and mutual legal assistance” (Council of Europe), “Countering Serious Crime in the Western Balkans” – Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) 2017, “Countering Serious Crime in the Western Balkans” - IPA 2019, “Legal Reform for Economic Development in the Western Balkans”.
Mr. Naumovski was also a representative of the Republic of Serbia in the PC OC Committee, CDCT Committee, CDCJ Committee of the Council of Europe, participating in the MONEYVAL and T-CY Committees and a contact point for the Republic of Serbia for the UNTOC Review Mechanism.
