Cooperation with Supreme Audit Office

The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) has initiated consultations regarding the provisions of the draft law on asset declaration statements with the Supreme Audit Office (NIK). On January 16, 2025, an inaugural meeting was held at the headquarters of the Supreme Audit Office in Warsaw, involving representatives of both the CBA and NIK. During this meeting, the key assumptions of the ongoing draft law were discussed, and areas requiring consideration of the special status of NIK auditors were agreed upon. According to these agreements, both institutions will jointly develop optimal legal solutions that are essential for the effective reform of the national asset declaration system, while also mitigating risks to national security interests.
